What an interesting film ! Unlike most of the purposeless Turkish Films this movie represents the difference between west and east of Türkiye.You will notice being a teacher is really holy occupation.
As a student of Teacher Training Department ,I strongly advise you to watch the movie.Because sometimes I notice that some of you despise on this profession.I hope that this film may change your mind and make you realize how beautiful and hard it is.I want to be a teacher like Feride from Çalıkuşu or Emre in this movie. They encounter difficulties but never give up and let their students down.
Also,this movie is not a real movie.There is neither senario nor actors in it.Every person is from real life,every dialog based on daily routine.Probably you will notice that while watching.
The movie has several awards (I think it deserves more).
I hope you will watch it and grab my sayings. Best wishes...

I decided to write comment about your writing because I wondered about your topics when we were in negotiation with Işıl Hoca:) I chose especially this topic because this movie is really worth watching as I see in the trailer. It may help us about difficulties of our future job and also we can see the differences between east and west in our country very clearly.As I know, it is very hard to communicate the people who live in eastern of our country because there are some accent differences or some of the people refuse to speak in Turkish.There is one thing that attracts my attention very much. The teacher in the movie was speaking with 'lan' with their students and I think it is a little bit absurd but of course I didn't watch the movie so this could be a realy small thing when we compare what he has done in that village.
YanıtlaSilBusecim,thank you for your comment. Actually,I noticed that 'lan' word and found it awkard ,too. Thinking this teacher as person who is educated in a rural part of the Turkey may be the reason for it.

nihansu, you chose a very great film to represent and i liked the way you express the film and your feelings about it.your grammer is very good.while reading your text i felt that i weas reading an article in a magazine... my education teacher was going to make uys watch this film in lesson but as the computer didn't work we couldn't watch.Then she advised us to watch this film so that we could understand what a teacher can face in his/her teaching life. I haven't still watched but i will soon.DON'T WORRY:)
